Congratulations to Two Deserving Members
On the recommendation of President Joyce Powell, one of our NJEA committee reps, who is chair of the Youth and Family Services Committee and GCEA representative from Washington Township, Camy Koblynski, has been appointed to the Governor’s Task Force on Bullying. Camy has also been appointed to the NJ High School Redesign Committee!

Second, another one of our GCEA committee reps from Deptford, Paul Petrille, has been appointed by President Powell as the chair of the Sexual Orientation and Classroom Issues Committee!

These appointments are quite an honor, and due to the tremendous effort and work both Camy and Paul have done, they are most deserving of these prestigious positions.

Thank you Camy and Paul!!-m

Fall Focus is Thursday, October 16th and will be held at Masso’s. I will have more detailed information at Rep Council as our planning meeting is September 10th.

The New Member workshop will be Thursday, March 26th at Adelphia’s from 4:30-8:30. It will be a different format this year and will have more of a “Faire” type atmosphere. I will also be asking for a small committee to help plan this event.
