THANK YOU to all of our Gloucester County Members who helped fight the unprecedented attacks on our members and public schools! You were wonderful and I am very proud of each of you! Thank you to our Region 2 office for their organization and leadership throughout the activities last week. Most of us in the education field would prefer to stay out of the political arena. However, the reality is that every aspect of the performance of our daily jobs as well as our post retirement benefits is affected by politics. Therefore, we are forced to keep a watchful eye and to act when necessary. Our Legislative Action Team (LAT) keeps us abreast of the issues that impact our membership. |
